As an independent Christian non-profit ministry, the Christian Church Foundation for the Handicapped (CCFH) strives to enhance the lives of persons with disabilities in three ways:
- Enabling others through training, resources, and encouragement to effectively minister with persons with disabilities.
- Seeking partnership with individuals, churches, and other organizations to meet the physical and spiritual needs of persons with disabilities.
- Providing a full range of services for persons with developmental disabilities including residential options, opportunities for social interaction, and opportunities for spiritual growth.
For over twenty years, CCFH has ministered to the disability community through direct service, by enabling others through training and resources to effectively minister to persons with disabilities, and through partnerships with churches and organizations to better meet the needs of people with disabilities across the country.
CCFH currently manages an independent living program, as well as two residential living programs for those with disabilities.
In order to educate those who feel called to participate in a disability ministry, CCFH produces numerous educational resources in the form of interactive and video-based training platforms, books, pamphlets, and user-generated Blogs.
